You can raise a dispute directly from the contract page. Our admin team reviews all disputes within 48 hours and makes a fair decision based on the evidence — delivery description, chat history, and any files shared. Funds cannot disappear — they are always held safely.

If no delivery is made, you can raise a dispute and funds will be refunded to you. If partial work was done, the admin may decide on a split. The escrow system exists precisely to protect both parties.

Freelancers on a paid subscription tier (Basic, Pro, or Unlimited) get a Premium badge on their proposals. When a client views proposals for their job, premium proposals are sorted to the top — giving those freelancers a clear advantage in getting noticed.

Yes. The Direct Assignment feature lets clients bypass the open proposal process and assign a job directly to a freelancer they have previously worked with. The freelancer receives a notification and can accept or decline.

We charge 10% on the agreed job amount for standard jobs, and 7% for high-value jobs (₦500,000 and above). This is deducted automatically when funds are released. There are no hidden charges.

When posting a job, clients can split it into milestones — each with a title, amount, and due date. The full project budget is locked in escrow upfront, but funds are released milestone by milestone as each one is delivered and approved.

Withdrawals are processed via Paystack Transfer API and typically arrive in your bank account within a few hours, and at most 24 hours. The minimum withdrawal amount is ₦2,000.

Yes. Payments are processed through Paystack — Nigeria's most trusted payment infrastructure, PCI DSS compliant. 5K never stores your card details. Funds in escrow are held securely and can only be released by client approval or admin resolution.

Yes. If you have been refunded for a previous project or have earnings in your wallet, you can use that balance to pay for new project escrow directly — no need to go through Paystack again. The option appears on the payment page if your balance is sufficient.

You can request a withdrawal to your Nigerian bank account at any time (minimum ₦2,000). The first two withdrawals per day are free. Additional withdrawals attract a 5% service charge. All withdrawals are manually reviewed and approved by our admin team within 24 hours to ensure security.

Yes. Clients can visit your public profile and assign one of their open jobs directly to you. You will receive a notification and can accept or decline. Direct assignments skip the open proposal process.

To ensure quality delivery, freelancers on the Free or Basic plan can handle up to 3 active projects at the same time. Freelancers on the Pro or Unlimited plan can handle up to 5. This limit is enforced automatically — if you are at capacity, clients will be notified you are currently unavailable.
